By the time New Years came along, I think I'd had enough picture taking. But, I did take a few pictures of our celebrations to share. We started the evening at my parents house for dinner, and then went to Melissa and Kevin's to party there for the rest of the evening. It was also Melissa's 40th birthday. As we were driving into Sugar City, where they live, something seemed a little strange. I couldn't put my finger on it right at first, but suddenly I realized that the neighborhoods seemed really dark. Either no one was home, or the power had gone out. It was the power. So, we moved the party to our house.
We, of course, brought in the New Year with way too much food and a great game called Dominion. I went a little crazy making food for the festivities: mango/avocado salsa, little smokies, almond roca, and stuffed mushrooms. Yummy!
