Pictures to prove it below: (FYI: These collages are saving me! Yay for collages!)
Ryan and Alyse were able to join us this year with their cute kids, and Great Grandma and Granddad Burt came too! :) We missed Kevin, however. :(
Katie celebrated a birthday the first day. Camping on your birthday with cousins? How fun is that? Oh, and don't you love Magan and Alece posing so perfectly for the camera? I think everyone's going to start posing with the "scrunched-up lip" face. Someday, our children's children are going to look back and wonder why we smiled in all our family pictures. ;)
Thomas and Adam were both at scout camps that week, so they couldn't join us. :( But, that also meant that William got to help dad start the fire all by himself! Woohoo! And just look at Lauryn...precious!
Sarah and Rachel. Need I say more?
Lauryn and Lance. Yeah, they got the "cool" genes.
The second day, we started the morning off with a hike. Magan, the beautician in the family, was kind enough to do all the girls' hair.
There's just nothing quite like riding in the back of a pick-up. Luckily, our kids get to have this opportunity at least once a year. And, with Grandma Dixie, no less, because that's just how cool she is! (This was a common occurrence when we were kids. Minus mom...I guess she only became cool as a grandma. Kidding! ;))
The first half of this hike was basically an uphill sidewalk, which was fabulous because our Great Grandparents could join us! (Now that's the way to hike!)
Proof that some of us made it to the top! This is such a perfect hike for ALL ages!
Later that day, we did a craft while the men relaxed. This was such a perfect idea for an easy, cute reunion craft! Thank for the idea, Alyse! Later, the men golfed and a bunch of us swam at the pool.
Before bed, we enjoyed a program in which Ashley started a new clothing trend, and Great Granddad serenaded us with his harmonica and recited a story or two and some poetry. There was, of course, roasting of marshmallows, fabulous food, and such wonderful company! Thanks, Mom and Dad, for all your hard work in putting this together!

wow! i can't believe how much everyone has grown. it's been waaaaaaaaaaay too long. what a fun camping trip!
