Our Whirlwind of a December Part 1

It really was a whirlwind. December. In fact, I don't even know where to begin. Well, I guess the beginning is a very good place to start. Or, so I've heard. So, we'll start with December 1st - Sarah's birthday.

Here she is with her cousin, Rachel and her sister Marianne. She's now eight. 

Eight years old. Years. Not days. Yet, it seems...

Anyway, back to the birthday bash..

She decided she wanted these same flower pot ice cream cakes that I made for Marianne on her birthday a couple years ago. The best part was, I already knew how to make them! Oh, and did you notice she got glasses? We just found out she needs braces too. Ugh. Luckily, she's totally worth it. We just adore our cuddly, silly, creative, cutie little girl!
