Right?
And, that's what matters. Right?
And, since I'm not one of those amazing people that writes in a journal every day...er...every month...er...every year...uh...EVER, I must do something. THIS is my journal. Therefore, I must continue this even if it seems I am the only one who knows it exists. If nothing else, I may find this all amusing someday.
So, February seems like a long time ago. Three months ago, to be exact. That means, I am 1/4 of a year behind on my blog. It's a good thing I take pictures, otherwise, I might not remember anything that happened a fourth of a year ago.
We did have a great month. For one, we got to celebrate my Granddad Burt's 90th birthday! Granddad and Grandma are currently living at the Homestead Assisted Living Center in St. Anthony. Granddad has cancer throughout his body, and in pain all the time. It's hard to see him and my Grandma struggle in their old age, but we love them! And, we have been grateful to live close enough to visit them often. The fact that our own kids know them and will remember them is a blessing we will always treasure.
Here are the kids singing "Happy Birthday" to Granddad.
Granddad "knocking some sense" into Thomas. ;)
A captive(ish) audience as Richard performed a violin solo on another occasion. We've been there a few times to play for them. We've really enjoyed these moments.
We also squeezed in a little sledding trip at the sand dunes in February.
The sun was a little bright, so no one could open their eyes for the pictures.
February is the month in which we start to get really sick and tired of SNOW! So, here we were, trying our darndest to enjoy the stuff! :) Next up: March. . .

I always love to read your blog. Since it's been private I keep forgetting it doesn't show me when you update. :) I loved your post on being a mom because I feel that way a lot too and I only have two kids!
