Thomas and his BFF, Jaedon Flora, and the wooden chest they made in their construction class.
William taking care of the chickens. This isn't the funnest job ever, especially in the winter, but he was a good sport about it. William really loves the chickens.
My mom sculpted "Olaf" from the movie Frozen. I submitted this picture to the local paper and they put a nice big picture of it in the paper. It was a total surprise. But, after all the hours of hard work, she needed to be recognized! It was a hit! In fact, there were people in the community that drove by their house to see it in person.
It was starting to melt by the time I got this picture, but still recognizable.
Richard and James "practicing" together. He likes to pull out his violin when Richard does and play along.
It's fun that Sarah and Rachel are in the same grade, same school, same class!
Here is a video of the "fiddlers" of the 4th grade who got to participate by performing "Bile them Cabbage Down". Sarah hasn't really been playing the violin for very long, so we worked hard. This was her first official performance on the violin.
Also in February, some of us participated in the 16th Ward talent show! This is William performing Le Polichinello by Heitor Villa-Lobos. He perfected it even more and performed it in a recent piano competition in Pocatello in which he and Sarah both won Honorable Mention.
And here is James performing Humoresque. I cannot take credit for the shaky video, as I was accompanying him on piano. ;)
Sarah displayed some art work.
And, William displayed some of his clever poetry.
That takes care of the first couple months of 2014!
