We decided to participate in the "Give-a-Day, Get-a-Day" program through Disney and the Hands-On Network. Basically, if you signed up to do a service project through Hand's-On, you and everyone in your family that participated (6 yrs. and up) could get free tickets to a day at a Disney theme park. Since "free" or "almost free" is about the only way we can do vacations like that, I jumped on it! Apparently, just in time! They already gave away the limited one million tickets and they aren't offering this deal anymore. Our service was to make quilts for sick or homeless children. We aren't going until October (during Spud Harvest) but James seems to think October could arrive at any time, including this afternoon. Hmmmm... maybe I should have kept it a surprise???My next big project was the storage room. It was obviously getting out of control. Before:
