60 Years Young!

My dear mother turned 60 on March 21st, although she could still pass as a beautiful, young, 35 year-old. Too bad her kids give her age away. I mean, we all know that you can't give birth at two years old, so we have to face the fact!

Jared and Nicole hosted a party at their home. We had tacos, chocolate cake, Baskin Robbins chocolate chip ice cream...all my mom's favorites. The whole shabang. Since it was a Monday night, we held a big family home evening. The grandkids sang, Jared read a scripture and gave a thought. We presented her with letters and cards from the kids and grandkids. Lance put together a great slide-show of pictures we all submitted of mom as a baby, teenager, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, wife, etc. All to celebrate the life of this wonderful woman!
