Birthdays All Around!

Around here, the holiday season and birthday season fall at about the same time. Since we have recently celebrated four birthdays, I'm just throwing them all in one post. 

James turned 7 years old on October 17th. I'm glad I managed to get the grandparents in these pictures. He requested a chocolate monster cake.

Sarah turned 9 on December 1st. Her friend, Sarah P., got to hang out with her that day, and she gave her some BFF necklaces that they both share. Owls. Cute, or what? Sarah asked for an ice cream cake. I settled on this chocolate malt version. mmmm....   

William turned 11 on December 13th. He wanted a chicken Lego game called, Kokoriko. I couldn't find it for less than $50 online in the US, so I bought it through the UK Amazon site. Total with shipping was around $16 in US dollars. Nice. William picked my favorite kind of cake ever: Tres Leches. Heavenly. If you haven't tried it, you really should.

Thomas turned 14 on December 19th. This kid wanted weapons of pretty much any kind. And gaffers tape. (???) I may never understand 14-year-old boys. But, whatever. Dad got him a switchblade. And, he wanted a vanilla cake with vanilla frosting. Vanilla.?. See? I can't figure him out.
