The kindergarten classes at Lincoln Elementary go to the nursing home every year at Halloween (or Christmas) time to sing for the old folks. Sarah has been learning lots of fun Halloween music in preparation for this, and the other day she informed us that she was learning a really "embarrassing" song. We tried to get her to sing if for us, but all we could get out of her was the first few words of the song: "Walking around the town". (It was hard enough to get her to tell us that much!) So, yesterday, I had the privilege of watching the AM classes perform at the nursing home, and I was anxious to hear this particular song. Luckily, this time I remembered that my camera takes video, so I even recorded it! I thought I would share it with you and wish you all a "Happy Halloween"!!!
FYI: pause the music at the bottom of the blog so you can hear the video.
Could you tell what might have made Sarah embarrassed??? The children were adorable, and they all sang so great! Hope you all have a safe, fun evening! (Don't run into any BATS!!!) I personally, will be glad when it's over! Not my favorite holiday...more on that later.
Here is a picture of my little witch after the performance.
