The Train

So, back when Thomas was only three years old, I decided to sell Discovery Toys. I did love the toys, and I wanted some for the kids. And, knowing how rough Thomas was with toys, I especially loved the "lifetime guarantee" they offered. The only downside: Not very many people were willing to pay $15 for some plastic links that they could get for $4 at Wal-Mart. It was tricky. But, I did a few parties, earned some toys (not money), and then quit selling after several months. We still have many of the toys, and if I just knew a consultant, I could really take advantage of that "lifetime warranty" thing.

There is one particular toy that probably got used more than any other toy.

The train.

This is James a couple years ago. I know, what a CHUNK! And, even though you can't tell, he really is wearing a diaper. All the kids got a lot of mileage out of this toy, especially James. You can see the condition it was in back in 2008:

Well, it miraculously held up all the way until last month when I caught James trying to ride it like this:

Here are a few of the remains of the missing half. (They were strewn all over the back yard.) You may wonder if it was James who did it.

Nope. The culprit... Thomas.
