Christmas Eve (We MADE IT!)

I love Christmas Eve as much as I do Christmas day for a few reasons.

1. We get to perform one more time, but this time with the the Burt family. This is a tradition we've had for several years. We started soon after Richard and I were married and had a couple kids. This year, we performed at the Homestead nursing home.
The kids put on a little nativity while Granddad reads from Luke 2.

Magan, Marianne, Ashley, and Thomas played a couple Christmas carols.

Richard and William performed Ave Maria by Charles Gounod. (William playing the Bach Prelude in C as the piano accompaniment.) There were other performances which were all fantastic, but I was too busy to take very many pictures, and the couple I did take didn't turn out that great, as you can tell.

2. We get to have a yummy ham dinner at my parents' house, and afterwards, Granddad takes the grand-kids to the playhouse to read a Christmas story.

3. We get to open Christmas Eve PJ's!

All this build-up to Christmas morning is almost too much! But, that excitement will have to wait for the next post. . .
