A Clean Room?

James cleaned his room one day. He was so proud of how clean he got, so he asked me to go take a look. This is what I saw:

Unfortunately, I didn't get the "before" picture, but this room redefines the term "pig sty" when it's a mess. Maybe if you have boys you know what I mean. Unless your boys clean up after themselves and don't purposely leave every piece of garbage, dirty sock, book, Lego, clothing, blanket, stuffed animal, (and the list goes on) wherever they happen to be standing when it is released from their hand - whether it is the floor, the desk, their dressers, beds, closet, you get the idea. Then the two-foot mess begins to overflow under the bed. The place becomes a dump! Literally!

So, needless to say. I was impressed with the work of my 7-year-old. Impressed enough to take a picture.

And then I noticed this:
After further inspection:

A plethora of items that he wasn't sure what to do with...er...didn't want to deal with???
I think I might steal this idea for the next time I clean my room. BRILLIANT!

(In all seriousness, I still think he wins the award for best job cleaning a room among all my sons, hidden bag of "treats" and all. Not bad!)
