Richard and the kids met me in Utah on the Sunday of our Sister's Weekend. As a family, we were able to stay for one more night and Monday. First, we visited with Grandma Patsy. One of the sweetest ladies I've ever known.
We spent the night in a cute little cabin.
We visited Temple Square on Sunday.
Took a tour of the Conference Center.
Monday we took the kids to the Discovery Center (children's museum). Once again, I must have had a "feel sorry for us" look on my face, because we got in for less than half the price. :)
Richard just couldn't find a comfy spot to take a nap at the museum. Don't they ever think of the poor parents?
We also went to a fun fall carnival at Thanksgiving Point called, Cornbelly's. Lots and lots of fun things to do, including a corn maze. We had a ball!
Richard and Thomas especially liked the part where they could shoot guns. Apparently, this is a fun activity, but I'm still waiting to catch on to the "fun" part. Richard shot pumpkins and corn at run-down cars, and Thomas shot a paint-ball gun at targets.
Before heading home that evening, we went to a missionary open house at Rob and Alison's home. Ren, Richard's nephew, was leaving on a mission, so they invited friends and family over for one last visit. It's always nice to have a good excuse to visit family in Utah. :)
