Star Trek
These are the ornaments Richard got when we were first married and my Mom was still holding on to the "Hallmark Ornament" tradition. Star Trek was one thing Richard and I did NOT have in common when we were married. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would ever come to enjoy a Star Trek episode or movie. But, as often happens in our marriage, I finally submited, bore it for a while, began to take slight interest, and at some point found myself craving the next episode. I couldn't wait to see what predicament Captain Picard would get into next! I was quite upset when the episodes came to an end. Others have tried to convince me that I would like Voyager or Deep Space Nine. Maybe. But, I became pretty attached to the Generations crew; Geordi, Riker, Worf, Data, Picard, Troi... So, there you have it. Thanks to Richard, I became a Star Trek fan after all.
