We had grandparent's over for a little party that evening. William got a remote control car from us, and that was it. It is impossible to budget three birthdays in December, so they (Thomas, William, and Sarah) only get one or two gifts on their actual birthday from us. The rest we give them on their half-birthday. It has worked well so far, and the kids don't seem to mind.
I love this picture of the kids together.
William was slightly excited about the Lego set from Grandma and Granddad.

He picked chocolate everything for his cake, and also requested the Oreo Cookies and Hershey's Kisses. He then decorated it himself. (Except for the writing, which I grappled with myself. Cake decorating is not my thing.)
Amazing how a new Lego set can turn chaos into calm in a matter of seconds. Legos are totally worth the mess.
He had his new ship all finished by the time the party was over.
We love William so much. He is our mellow, laid-back, easy-going, carefree, (okay, you get the idea) child. He is also very smart, loving, and obedient. We love having William in our home, and I really just don't know what we would do without him. Happy Birthday, William! We love you!!!
