Well, Marianne made a discovery while she was numb. Her dimple on her right cheek (the numb side) was no longer there. She mentioned it, but I told her not to worry, and that it would certainly come back when the numbness wore off.
Right???
For those who can't remember how cute and defined Marianne's dimples are, here is a picture to refresh your memory:

Well, here is a picture I took of her today. Four days later. Numbness has definitely worn off:
Gone.
Her words: "Mom, that was my favorite dimple." :(
Is anyone else saddened by this???
Has anyone else heard of this happening before?
One thing's for sure: This dentist appointment didn't cost us an arm and a leg - it cost us a dimple!!!
I think I would take the hole in the tooth back to get the hole in the cheek back. Waaaaah!!!
Wow, that is crazy! I would have never guessed that was even possible. Maybe it will come back over time.
