Christmas Day

Christmas morning: Believe it or not, I woke up to my alarm at 7:30 AM. I took advantage of the quiet house and took a quick shower. When I got out, I began to hear some stirrings. Perfect timing! Here are the kids, complete with their bed-heads and new pj's, anxiously waiting for Mom to take a picture so they can get to the goods!

I think they liked what they saw.

Can you see the handprint on James' face?

Thomas holding a little wooden airplane that Sarah painted for him. For sibling gifts this year, I just picked out a few toys that the kids could paint for each other. They each picked one brother/sister to give to. I am surprised at how much they enjoy doing this, and also how much they love what they get.

This is Sarah right before we left to go to my parent's house. Notice her pockets.

At my parents house, we had the traditional delicious breakfast, and opened gifts.

My beautiful Mother.

James begged me to take a picture of him kissing me on the cheek. This boy gives the best kisses and hugs ever!!!

The official "Present-Passer-Outer" ;) - Dad.

This is a game that Lance made for my parents for Christmas. It was quite the hit. Apparently, they play this in the Netherlands a lot. (Where Lance served his mission.)

This picture just made me laugh.

We ended the day at my grandparent's house with a few of the extended family - aunts, uncles, cousins. I was so thrilled to get a picture of our family with Grandma and Granddad Burt. This will also have to count for our family picture for 2009, because I think it's the ONLY one!
