A few things we have been up to the past couple weeks:
Babysitting the Ashton kids:
Sarah demonstrating her future mothering skills. She couldn't get enough of this little one. Neither could I. He is just so tiny, and cute, and cuddly. It just makes me want... nope. Nevermind. I think I will just stick with babysitting for now.
Taking black pictures:
This was my attempt at getting a shot of the big owl in our neighbors tree one very early morning. It was at the very top whoo-whooing like there was no tomorrow. We could see it a lot better than this pathetic picture lets on.
so Dad can run over it in his truck:
Sledding at the dunes:
Making sad faces instead of happy faces for the camera, because it's funny to do the exact opposite of what Mom asks us to do. In this case, Mom thought it was pretty funny too.
Digging:
Deep. Because, once again, it's funny to do the opposite! Only one of us is laughing this time. The other is trying to hold in the laughter while taking pictures thinking to herself, "I'll get her with this one someday. hehehe." She is pretty cute, however, even while picking her nose. ;)

Building a mini-snowman,
so Dad can run over it in his truck:
Sledding at the dunes:
Discovering that sliding down the hill on your bum works just as good as any old intertube. (You may want to pause the beautiful music at the bottom of my blog so you can hear this video. On second thought, don't. It will make for cool background music, like in a real movie, and then it will be way more effective.)
Getting all tuckered out:
Making sad faces instead of happy faces for the camera, because it's funny to do the exact opposite of what Mom asks us to do. In this case, Mom thought it was pretty funny too.

Taking up two intertubes:
"Do we HAVE to go???"
Looking all cool: He is pretty darn handsome, if I do say so. Holding those two intertubes as if it were nothing. Wearing his blue Sugar Salem Diggers fleece hat, and the sunglasses he bought at Target. And, of course, the dark blue canvas cover-alls. *sigh*
And, that's a wrap!

The picture of Richard on the two tubes cracks me up...so does the bit about the tiny snowman getting run over by a big truck. I love being a kid!
ReplyDeleteMy dad took pictures of me when I was picking my nose. Not so cool!
ReplyDeleteMan, that looks like soooo much fun! We miss you guys!
