Halloween in December

Yeah, still trying to catch up. Story of my life! I know I'm a couple months behind, but it doesn't feel like it's been a couple months, so does that count? I remember seeing everyone else's Halloween posts just days after Halloween, and knowing it would be a while before I got to mine.

We carved pumpkins the Monday before Halloween for FHE.

I decided against the Trunk-or-Treat this year, and I took the kids Trick-or-Treating instead. So glad I did! The weather was nice and I loved watching the kids go door to door to all of our wonderful neighbors. Thomas was with his cousin, Josh, when I took this picture. Oh, and I thought I ordered the kid-size pumpkin costume for James, but when it came in the mail only a couple days before Halloween, lo and behold, it was the adult size. But, he loved it and that's what matters, right?

Once again, I have to thank the internet and a step-by-step video for William's zombie costume. Seriously, the internet SAVES me with these kinds of things.

The Ashton family joined us half-way through our trick-or-treating, but this was the only Ashton kid I could keep up with. It was fun to walk around the neighborhood with my good friend, Natalie. Her kids were so adorable, and I feel bad that I didn't get a picture of all of them! But, wouldn't you say Paul is the cutest little tiger ever? Richard and Brian stayed back at the house to eat, I mean, hand out Halloween candy.

Later that night, when Thomas and Josh joined us, I thought I'd snag a picture of all of them. In case you can't tell, Thomas is wearing a fitgher pilot cap and goggles. We went to my parent's house later that night cause they always throw a great Halloween party. Even though Halloween is my least favorite holiday, it's usually a great time, and this year was no exception.
