I told my mom she wanted a stuffed bunny for her birthday. All she could find was the Energizer bunny! HA! I guess stuffed bunnies are hard to find this time of year. However, she still seemed to love it, and even fell asleep that night with the bunny snuggled in her arms.
And, of course, for a girl who loves bunnies, nothing but a bunny cake will do! The frosting for this was really fun to make and tasted just like marshmallow cream. Yum! In fact, I compared the ingredients and it pretty much IS marshmallow cream. :)
I hadn't completely decided whether or not to throw a separate party with friends, but Sarah made it easy for me and decided herself. She came home from school one day and let me know everyone she had invited to her party. And, it wasn't just a few. Ten, to be exact. (Although, not all could come.) Here are some pictures from the party she had a couple days later.
We just adore this little girl in all of her long, skinny, blonde cuteness! Just a few words to describe Sarah: Social, cuddly, and artistic. We love you, Sarah!!!
Just an interesting side note: One of Sarah's good friends is Mara Worden. (Bottom, left corner) Mara's mother, Jerusha, was one of my friends in grade school, and they now both attend the same elementary school that her mother and I went to. Jerusha and I were just geekin' out about it the other day. Who would have thunk??? ;)

Awww-- I love it that Jerusha's daughter and your's are friends. I would love to have our kids be friends, but I must've started late or something because my oldest is younger than your youngest! That, and we live too far away.
