William's Nine!

I guess I thought it would be a good idea to be wonder mom during the busiest month of my life. Three birthday's, six birthday parties (family + friends) and birthday cakes galore! What was I thinking? Well, to be honest, I really thought William's cake would be simple. At least, it seemed so on the video I watched online. And, although it was easy, it was also very tedious and it took forever, and anyone who knows me knows that I am not very patient with these sorts of things. But, even in my rush to get it done before our first party guests arrived, it still turned out pretty dang cute, if I do say so.

Putting together a new Lego set from Grandma and Granddad. More often than not, these boys are in this very position - hunched over a pile of Legos.

William also had a separate party with friends. He wanted to go sledding, so I made Richard take them all to Smith Park. Afterwards, they came back home for hot chocolate and vanilla ice cream. (Now, that's my kind of cake!) Sorry - no pictures!

William is always surprising us with his many abilities. He's very kind and easy going. He's really become a good artist and is very neat and precise in his drawings. He's super smart and always wants to do what's right. We love you, William!
